  • Hampshire School Games Netball Finals

    Mon 25 Mar 2024

Today our netball team represented the school fantastically in the Hampshire School netball finals. The first two matches were a tough start against two good sides and some adjustment was needed in relation to the stricter rules. We lost our first two matches but learnt a lot. Our next 3 games were a much more even match and we ended up winning two of these. The final game we showed great resilience. At half time we were 5 goals down and we came back to 5-4 but couldn’t quite grab an equaliser. The whole team performed amazingly and should be proud of their achievements to get to this stage.

  • The day that YR went on their very first school outing...

    Thu 29 Feb 2024

Can you remember your very first school trip?

YR were very excited to be going out of school for the very first time and had a great day at the New Forest Wildlife Park. They travelled by mini bus (very exciting) and then spent the morning looking around the park with Ash, the group leader. They saw owls, otters, harvest mice, polecats, deer, bison and wolves along with other animals that were asleep when we visited! A great day was had by all!

  • Netball Team Victorious Again

    Tue 27 Feb 2024

This afternoon the netball team were victorious once again. They represented the Swanmore School Cluster group in the South Winchester and Eastleigh tournament. They played 6 games and won 6 only conceding 1 point across the whole tournament. All of the 7 in the team performed fantastically and they now have qualified for the Hampshire School Games Netball tournament. This is a really big achievement for them all and they should be really proud of the efforts.
